- Bearings are sold individually and can be used for other manufacturers fly reels- be sue to check the correct sizes of the bearings. RFF Hybrid Ceramic|Stainless steel bearings can be used in all types of fishing reels (fly, spinning, trolling etc) and if used in a fresh water only application requires no lubrication at all. When used for salt water applications simply apply a lubricant or silicon spray to reduce the amount of salt build up. Cleaning the our bearings is a simple and easy process, the main objective is to remove any residue|salt|grime that may cause the ceramic balls to not operate optimally.
